Global One (G1)— Mike Trout is considered one of the best baseball players ever — and now he’s paid like it.

In fact, the 12-year, $430 million contract extension Trout is believed to have signed with the Los Angeles Angels is reportedly the largest-ever sports contract.

Trout’s previous contract — which was for $144.5 million over six years — was set to expire in 2020.

The 27-year-old star is a two-time American League MVP and has hit 240 home runs in just over 1,000 games.

While the money the superstar will earn over the life of the contract is the most ever, it’s not the highest annual value.

Alvarez, fellow boxer Floyd Mayweather and soccer star Lionel Messi each earn more than Trout’s contract will pay.

What do you think of the mega contract?
