What a lifesaver!

One Australian man is counting his blessings and thanking his savior — his cell phone.

It reportedly saved his life during a violent attack.

According to reports, the 43-year-old man was attacked with a bow and arrow after being confronted by a man outside his house in New South Wales.

The arrow was fired just moments after the victim raised his phone in the air to document the confrontation.

Instead of the arrow piercing the victim, it went through his phone, cracking and shattered the screen and leaving a hole in it.

The cell phone got the brunt of this altercation, but the force of it did knock the man’s phone into his face.

The victim and the suspect reportedly knew each other and no other details about the circumstances have been released.

The victim is unhurt and the suspect was charged with assault.

Wow, what a save.
