GLOBAL ONE NEWS (G1) — A man in northwest China has killed eight people and wounded seven others.
Police identified the suspect by the surname Guo following the attack on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the suburban county of Huining in the province of Gansu.
According to reports, 49-year-old Guo was intoxicated when he committed the crime. He was reportedly enraged as he suspected his wife of committing adultery.
Guo reportedly went wild and barged into his neighbors’ houses stabbing the victims using a knife.
Police did not disclose more details about the identity of the victims, but they confirmed Guo was arrested.
The same province last month sentenced to death a man dubbed as China’s “Jack the Ripper” for abusing, murdering and mutilating his female victims between 1998 and 2002.
