GLOBAL ONE NEWS (G1) — While Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao was in the ring pounding American challenger Adrien Broner in Las Vegas Jan. 19 at the MGM Grand Arena, burglars took the opportunity to ransack his mansion in Los Angeles.

The L.A. police department launched an investigation after Pacquiao’s residence in the upscale Larchmont neighborhood was reportedly burglarized over the weekend.

Pacquiao has reportedly owned a home there since 2009.

According to reports, a family member who lives in the mansion, wasn’t home at the time because he was attending the 40-year-old boxing champ’s fight in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao returned to his house after beating his 29-year-old opponent in a 12-round unanimous decision and found police investigating.

According to Pacquiao’s U.S.-based publicist, “nothing substantial was stolen.”

Pacquiao’s brother Bobby meanwhile said it’s the second time the L.A. home of the eight-division world champ has been robbed.
