GLOBAL ONE NEWS — A recent study suggests dogs are better sleeping companions than humans and cats.

The research titled “An examination of Adult Women’s Sleep Quality and Sleep Routines in Relation to Pet Ownership and Bed Sharing” surveyed 962 women living in the U.S.

Half of the respondents share their bed with dogs and human partners, while 31% share their bed with their cats.

The results suggest sharing your bed with your dog leads to a better night sleep.

Researchers explained, “Dogs have an innate ability to comfort us and help us sleep soundly without disturbing us.”

That is not the case with humans and cats— at least according to the study.

The results also showed women who share their beds with their dogs felt more comfort and security and wake up earlier than cat owners.

So it looks like now you have more reasons to cuddle with your furry friend at night.
