GLOBAL ONE NEWS (G1) — Jet Airways staff in India had to remove a passenger from a domestic flight following an alarming prank.
Passenger Yogvedant Poddar was kicked out from a Mumbai-Kolkata flight and then held for questioning on Nov. 26 after a co-passenger reported his “mischievous activity on board.”
Twenty-one-year-old Poddar allegedly took a photo of himself covering half of his face. He reportedly planned on sending it to a friend and captioned the photo, “Terrorist on flight, I destroy women’s heart.”
Unfortunately, a co-passenger had a glimpse of the photo and immediately informed the crew. The plane was forced to return to the tarmac to allow security officials to detain Poddar.
But police found “no suspicious or objectionable item” in his bag.
The suspect’s father claimed his son was “indulging in a prank.”
The flight, which had 160 passengers on board, was delayed for over an hour.
