GLOBAL ONE NEWS (G1) —It’s gonna be a wet and snowy weekend for much of the south and eastern portion of the United States.

From the Gulf of Mexico to the eastern seaboard — people should brace for the invasion of Old Man Winter.

According to CNN, some southern states like Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee have been rocked by snow.

Places like Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Virginia were hammered with ice that knocked out power lines.

There are reportedly more than 350,000 people without power as the winter storm strengthens and heads northeast.

One meteorologist said, “ This has the potential to be a dangerous and destructive ice storm for the Shenandoah and New River valleys of Virginia.”

Neary 25 million are also reportedly under a flood or flash flood from Georgia to Virginia.

Officials advise those traveling by car and air to expect disruptions due to snow, ice and rain expected to continue through the end of the week.
