GLOBAL ONE NEWS (G1)—The new trailer for the upcoming movie “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” shown at the New York Comic-Con 2018 gave fans a brand new take on the film coming to theaters January 16.
Rather than showing the future of Broly as the title suggests, it shows a glimpse of his past along with young Goku and Vegeta.
The new trailer for Broly’s origin story shows Broly, Goku and Vegeta more intertwined than fans may be used to seeing the Saiyans.
It also includes Goku’s mother, Gine, who has yet to appear in any of the anime thus far.
It appears the new installment of the anime will give Broly more of a purpose to his mayhem, giving him a vengeful motive not previously established.
You can catch the three Saiyans in theaters in Japan first on December 14, and the English dub will release in the United States on January 16.
