They’re two of the most famous names on the planet these days, but that doesn’t mean they get along.

President Donald Trump and basketball All-Star LeBron James got into a boxing match of words.

It all started during a re-airing of an interview James did with Don Lemon on CNN.

The interview was meant for James to discuss his new school in Akron, Ohio.

But when the conversation turned to politics, James said he “would never sit across” from Trump.

Trump later jabbed back on Twitter, saying Lemon’s interview “made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do.”

NBA commissioner Adam Silver came to James’ defense calling him “one of the all-time greatest NBA players.” He also said he admires James’  “intelligence and business acumen.”

Talk show host and Trump confidant Geraldo Rivera, meanwhile, tweeted he wished the president had “turned (the) other cheek.”

Even First Lady Melania Trump’s spokeswoman said James was “working to do good things on behalf of our next generation.”
