UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) —Boxer Floyd Mayweather has a new fight on his hands, a  lawsuit for $2 million dollars filed by a Nigerian Media Company.

In the lawsuit filed in a federal court in California,   Zinni Media claims they booked Mayweather to make five appearances in Nigeria and Ghana in June 2017 for $375,000. They paid him $210,000 for the gig in advance.

But, although he had made a video agreeing to show up, days before the appearances,  the superstar boxer backed out.

Zinni Media says Mayweather promised to reschedule and add more appearances. But he now wanted  $550,000 for rescheduled events that were going to happen December 2017.  They agreed to pay it.

However, they say Mayweather asked that the original $210,000 to be used as part of his payment, but later backed out again and never returned the money.
