UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — The Singapore Mint unveiled on Tuesday, June 5 a limited-edition set of medallions ahead of the historic first summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un.
Three versions of the medallions will be available: gold, silver, and nickel plated, with prices ranging from $27 to over $1000.
‘World Peace’ is inscribed on one side, along with a dove and olive branch, both of which symbolize peace.
Also included on the front is the national flowers of the two countries, a rose and magnolia.
The other side portrays two hands clasped in a handshake in front of both nation’s flags and the June 12 date of the summit.
The company announced that it would increase the amount of available medallions due to demand, but will not raise the amount again to “ensure the exclusivity of the medallions.”
