UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — In his first televised interview since his firing, former FBI Director James B. Comey said that he believed Donald Trump was “morally unfit to be president,” with Trump firing back that Comey will go down as the “WORST FBI Director in history.”
In a new interview with ABC that aired April 15, Comey said there’s “some evidence” that Trump obstructed justice when he was asked about the investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
Comey also said that it was “possible” Russia had material that could be used to blackmail Trump.
Trump pushed back on Twitter, calling Comey “slippery” and “a proven LEAKER & LIAR.”
He also accused Comey and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe of committing “many crimes.”
Comey is currently on a media blitz for his book, “A Higher Loyalty,” which is slated for release April 17.
